So true about the ‘92-‘96 band being under-appreciated…even forgotten. The Jackson/Baxter combo were wonderful and “lit a flame” is a good way to put it.
They, with their versatile instrumentation, at least “allowed” Dylan to re-explore Americana, if they didn’t lead him altogether. I missed each of them when they left…but Baxter pedal steel the most.
