I'm not sure there was an intention to suggest he was anything other.. Ray was a friend of Peter's since they were kids and Pete never had anything but lovely things to say about him.
My apologies! I did not mean to imply anything about Peter & Rays relationship. I was speaking specifically to anyone reading about Ray; my comment was solely about Ray based upon the handfuls of times I've had the pleasure to be around him or see him play at various venues from my years living in Austin. He is an icon in the community there of course! I cannot say I ever had the pleasure of meeting Peter, but if he was Ray's friend I'm sure he could have been mine also!
Ray is generous, more talented than you think, and one hell of a nice guy!
