I still remember an interview with David Bowie in Playboy magazine where Bowie describes the first time that he met Bob Dylan at some party in New York City and he said he was just blathering on like some star struck fan and Dylan just kind of looked at him, then past him, and then walked off.
Fantastic! Such a great subject and so well researched and written. One of my fave 3 to 5 Dylan posts this year (and you know I read just about every one). Thanks!!
PS: Love that Bowie cover so much - wish he did the whole of TOOM.

I loved that.

Me too, in fact I think I’m going to put it on again right now 😎
Thanks.
Fascinating: good points, well made. thanks
Thanks Andy, always greatly appreciated when coming from your fine self.
I always thought the title Time Out Of Mind was borrowed/influenced by Accidentally Like a Martyr. Bob always spoke highly of Warren Zevon.
Me too!
